Locate the .htaccess File Using cpanel

Hi and vanakam to all. This post is dedicated to blogger Durai and to whom it might help you. Lets start it. Locating .htacces file in cpanel, which mean your hosting’s directory.  This post is partly continuation from previous post.

The first thing, you have to log into your cpanel. Next get to file that as showed in the image below.
*don’t use any No Script or alike, please disable it whilst you can’t see the pop-up windows

Click the “File Manager”. Then, a window will pop-up. Se the image below and do as follows.

Tick the “show Hidden files” box (must do STEP) Then tick the “Web Root” box. Once done, the window as the image below will appear. Now, we are in directory of public_html. Go to next step.

The .htaccess is located below the wp-icludes, what ever editing and rewriting can be done now, and using edit panel (on the top of cpanel window) and change permission features are there too.
